1995 SLS questions - sluggish and slow

Hi, Today I was driving my 1995 sls and had two problems occur with it. Today I decided to full throttle my car and see the real power it has, but was very confused. Once I started to go it had really sluggish acceleration. It was almost like the rpm was limited to only go up to 4000 rpm. The RPM slowly went up like I was only at half throttle. It didn't even get up to 5000 rpm by the time I did make it to 60. It was on a flat road. and took a lot just to get to 60mph!!!

My other question is when driving a "service Ride control" message came on then went away. The only code was s060(Left Front Position Sensor Fault) which was a history code. The message only comes on for one second then goes away.
