Just wanted to get some input from others here on this great site.
My fuel level sensor is obviously damaged from not keeping enough fuel in the tank and slightly over heating. The guage on the dash starts to act up after it hits about 60-70% full. It starts to jump all over from full to empty and even moves to different intervals.
I have looked for replacement fuel pumps and have seen on other post that AIRTEX Part # E3518M is the same as the original Delphi.
While searching Rock Auto and Ebay for the best price, I have stumbled upon a "New Fuel Level Sensor SK1030" on ebay. They say it can only be used on the original Delphi pump. Here is the post: http://www.ebay.com/itm/380405703694...84.m1423.l2649
My questions are:
Is this a viable option in your opinion? If so, how can I tell if my pump is an original Delphi?
