Hi there! My Seville began to make me some troubles. I had the car in a garage for winter tires exchange etc. and because "low coolant" message was on the DIC, they also added about 1.3qt of coolant. It was the first time in about 2 or 3 years when coolant had to be added. I was there so I saw they added coolant to the max, few inches below the cap.
I made 200 miles long trip (with some stops, totalit makes 400 miles there and back again). During this trip, everything was absolutelly OK, car works like a charm. No messages on DIC, no problems at all. Yesterday I started the car I got "low coolant" mesaage again. I checked the surge and I was not able to see any coolant there. But car works OK and it is not overheating. Since rather high amount of coolant disappeared, I need to solve it. I was searching through forum and seems I need to start to check coolant hose pressure when engine is fully heated. Hard hose means HG problem, right? I found also tips to check surge and nipple for possible leaks and to trace white residues of coolant somewhere in the engine area suggesting possible leak(s).
Does anyone have some other tips what else should I check? Thanks a lot.
