Hey all,
I'm new here and new to Cadillac's, but always been a GM guy.
Just got my first Cadi, a 98 Seville STS, and I'm having a random issue with it not starting. Turn the key and get noting. No starter click or any thing.
Its happened three times in the week I've had the car. First time I left key in ignition after trying to start several times, scrolled through dash display to see battery voltage, which was 12.3v and it started right up. Second time I tried same thing and it didn't work, locked doors with remote entry and car started right up. This morning It happened again, tried the same as last two times, with no luck. waited about a min tried to start car again and it started right up. All three times it has been after the car has sat for a wile.
Any one have any idea what could be going on. It seems to be completely random and I cant figure out any thing in particular that lets the car start.
Thanks in advance for any help and I look forward to learning from you guys and being an active member of the community.
